Pretend It’s OK - Available Now

Available on iTunes, amazon, GooglePlay, Spotify and more...

Winter’s charity project, “Pretend It’s Ok” was inspired by those going through with cancer and going through treatments. In particular her best friend from school who has always been so brave and a huge inspiration to Winter.

“I had to do something, but I couldn’t really do anything useful let’s be honest.. so I put my talents to some use and put together this charity single. Money raised gets donated to cancer charities, mainly Pink Ribbon Foundation and Cancer Research.”

2017 Press Release:

Francesca Thomas of Mid Suffolk, also known as "Winter" is releasing a charity single featuring artists from across the globe. The single is a cover of Little Mix's "Pretend It's OK" and features artists from Germany, France, USA, Tasmania and Stowmarket to Somerset. Once people heard about the project they were desperate to get involved. The single is raising money for the Pink Ribbon Foundation & Cancer Research UK.

When Francesca's best friend was diagnosed with cancer in her 20's she wanted to do something to raise money and awareness. People should be aware cancer can strike at any age and we need to raise money to help make a brighter future.

The single also includes children from Winters Academy Dance & Performing Arts singing as well as dancing in the music video alongside Miss Somerset, True Fable and many more.

The musical accompaniment was organised by the talented Anne Burton, one of Suffolks top jazz musicians who also sings and plays on the single.

Earlier in the year the single caught the interest of an ex-record label executive and producer Paul Beavis who polished the final mix that's now available on iTunes, amazon, google play and all good mp3 download stores for pre-order.
